The Sunshine Coast Blues U7 team, made up of five-and six-year-olds, had an absolute blast at their home tournament held on Jan. 10, 11 and 12. The event, hosted by the Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey Association, saw teams from Aldergrove, Ridge Meadows, and Langley come to the Coast for some exciting hockey action.
Over the course of the weekend, the Blues played a total of four games, showcasing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. It was a memorable experience for all involved, and the young players had a fantastic time representing the Sunshine Coast on their home ice.
A huge shout-out to coaches Callum Vaughn and Brandon Kohuch for their dedication and leadership, as well as to the entire team for their hard work and enthusiasm. The Blues roster included: Arian MacNeil, Audri Jeal, Beau Williams, Cash Carter, Cohen Vaughn, Declan Gyourov, Gunnar Koberwitz, Jack Goold, Jude Mason, Kieran Morgan, Levi Couves, Liam Kohuch, Mackie Wood, Nathan Miller, Oliver Bennett, River Benner, Rocky Schmid and Sawyer Peterson.
Great job, Blues! We can’t wait to see what’s next for this talented group of young players!
