Sunshine Coast Labour Council is pleased to announce that we are returning to host an annual Labour Day picnic at Dougall Park in Gibsons on Sept. 5.
SCLC is inviting any community members to join in our National Labour Day celebration, we will be serving free hotdog lunch and entertainment on the outdoor stage.
This is our moment to bring peaceful solidarity in our coastal community. Labour unions benefit workers and their communities to embrace our traditional community values and social networks. The time is now for all working people to join us on the path to a better future.
We look forward to seeing you and your family at the Dougall Park from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Labour Day.
