However, Jim Peers stepped in and pitched admirably, helping his team to an 8-5 victory. The Barons showcased their offensive prowess with Jackson and Josh both hitting inside-the-park home runs and Derek sending one out of the park. On the Raiders’ side, Therin Hemstalk started the game with Bill Stockwell coming in for relief. Tyler Graham continued his impressive form, hitting an inside-the-park home run, along with a double and a triple. Therin also shined at the plate, going three for four.

The Gun Show exploded with a ten-run lead in the first inning, appearing to be on their way to an easy win. However, the Bears mounted a remarkable comeback, chipping away in the third and fourth innings and then rallying for ten runs in the sixth to take a 14-12 lead. In the bottom of the sixth, Connor Cross scored for the Gun Show, but a crucial double play by the Bears’ defense halted their momentum. The Bears’ defense started strong, retiring the first three Gun Show batters, but faltered in the second inning, allowing the Gun Show to capitalize on key errors and score eight runs. Despite impressive defensive highlights, including Bradly Burns’ diving catch in center field and Eli’s over-the-shoulder catch at shortstop, the Bears couldn’t overcome their early mistakes.
