Seventeen star skaters represented the Sunshine Coast Skating Club at 2024 BC Coast Region Jingle Blades Competition Nov. 21 to 24 in North Surrey, where well over 1,000 skaters from the BC Coast Region attended. The BC Coast Region has the highest numbers of clubs per region (and therefore the most skaters in the province) and covers the areas from Langley, White Rock and South Surrey to the south, Mission and Chilliwack in the east, Vancouver, Richmond and Delta to the west, every community in between these, and of course our Sunshine Coast, Whistler and Squamish to the north. We are excited to announce that our 17 skaters skating in 24 events brought home seven medals and 12 ribbons, along with some impressive placements and personal best scores.
