The Sunshine Coast Youth Soccer Association (SCYSA Eagles) U18 boys rep team returned to the pitch Labour Day weekend to start their 6th season at the SX International Cup tournament in Surrey.

Coaches Jeremy Hamp and River Rohlicek supported the boys in winning the gold medal in the gold division of play.

The Eagles played four games in the tournament, winning three of them and tying one.

The boys’ years of coaching, practising, and hard work culminated in skilful play without defeat. The Eagles continue to demonstrate a golden attitude as well, with supportive gestures to their opponents and a general sense of good fun.

Regular season play kicks off Saturday, Sept. 7 in Burnaby. The team welcomes new players Theo Barlow, Jiovanne Scott, Sierra Ryden, and Kamryn Pierre to the team this year.
