Soccer Sunday at the Legion is still running with this next one this Sunday, March 23 at 8 p.m. Breakfast is just $5 ($3 children's portion) and a $2 cover charge.

The next scheduled Roberts Creek Community Association general meeting will not take place as usual on March 26 as the hall is being painted.

The next general meeting will also be the annual general meeting on April 23.

The board invites all interested in keeping the community spirit alive to come and help shape our future. Hope to see you there.

This Thursday, March 21 be sure to drop by for Curry in the Creek from 3 to 6 p.m. Stop by for great Curry and great fellowship at the Creek Hall.

The Roberts Creek Scout group will be holding a bake sale next Saturday, March 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sunnycrest Mall. Drop by and pickup some mouth watering baking and you will be supporting Scouts so that they can enjoy camping and other activities this spring. For more details call 604-885-2282.

There are two events coming up next weekend for the Live and Learn Program of the One Straw Society.

On March 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. enjoy the organic farmer with David Steele and on March 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. enjoy grafting fruit trees with Heinz Engelmann. Both events are at the Rockwood Centre, 5511 Shorncliffe Avenue in Sechelt.

A call has gone out for vendors, environmental and community organizations, volunteers and donations for this year's Earth Day festivities at the Roberts Creek Pier on Sunday, April 27.

Booth space is $10 to $30 and environmental and community organizations are free. In order to have a successful day, we need to hear from you now, so email [email protected].
