Arrowhead Clubhouse invites the community to its Fifth Annual Christmas Art and Bake Sale on Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Arrowhead Clubhouse, 5554 Inlet Avenue, Sechelt. This holiday event highlights original artwork, jewellery, holiday cards and handmade crafts, alongside delicious homemade baked goods, all created by the talented members of Arrowhead Clubhouse.
Arrowhead Clubhouse, one of over 30 programs offered by SCCSS, provides a safe and welcoming environment where individuals living with mental illness can learn skills, receive support, and build meaningful relationships. All proceeds from the sale will support the Clubhouse and the participating artists and chefs, helping foster independence and creativity within the community.
“The sale is important as it shows a different side of us, one that people don’t get to see,” says Melanie Elizabeth, a Clubhouse member. “Specifically, that we are all different to each other. We are not one stereotype.”
Foye Hatton, Arrowhead’s project lead, echoes this excitement, adding, “The Art and Bake Sale gets bigger and better every year. It’s an amazing opportunity for our members to showcase their incredible skills, and for the public to pick up perfect presents for friends and family.”
Join Arrowhead Clubhouse members for a festive celebration of art, community, and holiday spirit. Attendees are welcome to explore unique gifts and treats, all crafted with care, while supporting positive outcomes for people living with mental health challenges on the Sunshine Coast.
