The U-18 Storm are off to the Coastal Cup final in Maple Ridge this Saturday after coming from behind in the semi-final last weekend to beat the visiting NVFC Fury 2-1 on two beautiful second-half goals by Taiyo Blackwell and Kaishan Nonacowie, Kaishan scoring the winner with just 10 minutes remaining.
The boys were roared on by a massive hometown crowd, who came out to cheer them on despite the torrential downpour.
The Storm did not disappoint their fans in their final home game ever.
Come on out to Golden Ears Turf Field #3 in Maple Ridge at 4 p.m. this Saturday, April 22, to cheer the boys on in the Coastal Cup Final.
