Skating accomplishments

The Sunshine Coast Skating Club had five skaters attend the Autumn Leaves Competition, Oct. 13 to 15, in Chilliwack. In total, there were 900+ competitors from B.C. and Alberta participating in this competition.

The Sunshine Coast Skating Club had five skaters attend the Autumn Leaves Competition, Oct. 13 to 15, in Chilliwack. 

In total, there were 900+ competitors from B.C. and Alberta participating in this competition. 

Starskate results: Keira Squires Star 2 Gold Assessment; Jayda Stevenson Star 2 Gold Assessment; Brielle Avila Star 6, personal best score. 

Podium path results: Isabella Watts, Juvenile U12 personal best score and will compete in B.C. sectionals (Podium Path Provincial Championships) Nov 9 to 12, in Kelowna. Lucy Watson, Novice Ladies Short Program, personal best score and placed second out of a field of 23. Congratulations to all. The club will have a large contingent of Star skaters in the upcoming Jingle Blades competition on Nov. 24 to 26 in North Surrey.
