Skookcumchuck Heritage Society is having its AGM on Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at the Egmont Heritage Centre.
The Pender Harbour Women’s Connection will host their second annual community update Tuesday, April 9. Speakers will be Sarah Johnston, chair of the Pender Harbour Rotary, Jim Cameron, chief of PH Volunteer Fire Department, Maurice Laycock, pharmacist at Marina Pharmacy and Nick Gaskin executive director of the PH Health Centre. Each speaker will have 15 minutes. Following a refreshment break there will be a brief question period. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. at the School of Music. Speakers present at 10 a.m. $4 drop in.
School of Music Coffee House next Friday April 12 will be an evening of two musical treats, Sean Peters and Spindrift Street featuring Charlie Veaudry, Garth Oliver Bowen and Randy Shepherd. $10 suggested donation at the door. Delicious desserts provided by the Pender Harbour Choir will be available.

The Annual Community Club Plant Sale April 27 at the Hall has the addition of a vintage market. Vendors, Jane Anderson and Bobbi of Granite Gardens, among others, will be selling vintage items (China, glassware, decor, furniture), a curated collection of unique pieces to suit any decor and items of interest to collectors too.
