Sunday, February 18, the Legion presents an afternoon of fantastic music with Spindrift Street featuring Randy Shepherd, Garth Oliver Bowen and Charlie Veaudry. This trio is a wonderful collaboration of three super talented musicians with great voices. From 2 to 5 p.m. $10 at the door.
The Pender Harbour Wildlife Society is pleased to host a presentation on Tuesday, Feb. 20, with Bill Henwood of the Loon Foundation. Bill spent most of his professional career with and will focus on Parks Canada establishing new national parks and national marine conservation areas, including Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. Currently, he is engaged in local protected areas and land use issues on the Sunshine Coast and challenges of protecting nature in the modern world. The presentation will be at the Pender Harbour Secondary School in the Food Room.
