Ready, set go! Art Crawl 2023 is under way today, Friday, Oct. 20, and runs through tomorrow and Sunday. Start off by visiting fantastic exhibits in the Harbour.
Harbour Gallery will be open for the Art Crawl, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping.
Be sure to visit the Sarah Wray Hall in Garden Bay #182 to #185, an extremely popular stop last year. Four artists will be exhibiting works in paint, photography and ceramics, #182 to #185 in the guide, are supported by members of the SWH Art Group.

The Pender Harbour Rotary Art Show #174 in the Art Crawl map is at the PH Community School, beside the Madeira Park Elementary School. Thirty-five items, 16 have been donated to the club and the remaining they are selling for local artists for a commission. All funds raised will benefit our community.
The Pender Harbour Music Society presents Krystle Dos Santos, a two-time Western Canadian Music Award winning soul, jazz and R&B singer who takes the stage at the School of Music this Sunday, Oct. 22. Tickets available at the PHMS website.
Town hall meeting, hosted by PHARA this Sunday, Oct. 22, at the PH Community Hall, 1 to 3 p.m. is for residents interested and concerned for our community. Many topics will be covered. PHARA is a community-based non-profit that is your voice for local governance issues. The Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society will open Sarah Wray Hall and invites folks to come and enjoy a historical journey at one of the most iconic sites in the Harbour’s history Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 23 and 24.
Take a trip with Harbourside Friendships Thursday, Oct. 26, 10:30 a.m. at the Hall. Armchair Travels will transport you in a comfortable, luggage free, environmentally friendly way from your chair. Stay for lunch served at noon for just $10.
Pender Harbour Garden Club will meet Oct. 30 at the School of Music. The guest speaker Rob Haines, will talk about many topics including bees and honey, produce and deer. Annual fees are $15 or drop-in fee of $5. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available at 1 p.m., with the speaker starting at 1:20 p.m.
