It is with sadness that we announce that Genevieve gently passed away with her loving family at her side.
Genevieve was born in Sechelt. She moved to the lower mainland where she married and raised her family, then returned to Sechelt.
She was affectionately called Shanny by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was married to Raymond for 59 years. He passed away in 2007, her grandson Robert passed away in 2014.
She is survived by her five children, Daniel, Janice, David (Rosalie), Paul and Lisa; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and her twin sister Faye Hansen.
Celebration of life will be held on May 13, 2023, 1pm-3pm, Gibsons Garden, 963 Gibsons Way.
