Louise Prescesky, nee Dunseith, was born on August 12, 1931 in Vancouver, BC. She grew up in Belcarra before meeting the love of her life, Ed, and was married in 1955. They moved to Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast in 1981, buying the property from a family member and built their dream home. They were supporters of the Pender Harbour Health Clinic and other community organizations.
Louise passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Easter Sunday. The morning saw stormy weather with blustering winds and pouring rain, however, when she left, it was calm, sunny and clear. The perfect evening reflecting her beautiful soul.
She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Harriet, her brother Billy and her husband Ed. She will be greatly missed by her surviving daughters Pat (Kerry), Betty (Kevin) and Cathy (Chris), her grandchildren Miranda (Luke), Jenn, Mike, Blake, Tara (Matt) and great-grandchildren Katelin, Mason, Dominic, Maxwell and Bennet.
Special thanks to all of the staff at Shornecliff who helped care for her in her last years. A special thanks to Reg and Kenan who brought music, joy and faith into the care home, which brought her so much happiness.
