It is with great sadness that we announce that Bill Barrett passed away peacefully on May 28, 2023, at the age of 74 years.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his son Kelly, daughter-in-law Trish, granddaughters Mikayla, Jada, and Lyndee, sister Barb, and many friends in Sechelt, BC and Leduc, AB. He is predeceased by his father Ray, mother Irene, and brother George.
Bill was born in Kamloops, BC and lived in a number of places in Alberta and BC throughout his life. He spent three years in the Canadian Navy, and for many years he worked as a long-haul truck driver. An avid outdoorsman Bill loved hunting, fishing and being in nature. He loved being on the water and spent 23 years living on the West Coast on a boat in Sechelt, BC. In 2021 he moved to Leduc to be closer to his family, creating more memories with them and making many friends at Planeview Place where he lived. Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
