A retirement ceremony was held on June 3 for Judy LeNeve to celebrate her 35 years of service with the District of Sechelt, making her the longest-serving employee in the district’s history. As a sponsored SCACL employee, LeNeve was responsible for the cleaning of the Davis Bay washrooms and rarely missed a day of work during her career. Mayor Darnelda Siegers presented her with a certificate thanking her for her years of service and she was joined by her friends and co-workers from the Parks Department. District staff, mayor and council wish Judy a happy and healthy retirement and thank her for her dedication to the job.
