A week away is the Fall Chamber Music Weekend, October 22-23 starring James Campbell and the Lafayette String Quartet. Recently, after 40 years of teaching and working together, members of the Lafayette announced that they will bring their internationally respected collaboration to a close in 2023. Tuesday, Oct. 25, Women’s Connection is all about “Remembering Queen Elizabeth II & High Tea.” Come share your stories about Her Majesty in Britain and during her many trips to Canada. There will be a quiz and followed by High Tea. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Gathering begins at 10 a.m. New drop-in fee $4. Yearly membership $15. Masks are optional. The Pender Harbour Brownies are doing their part for our food bank, Wednesday, Oct. 26, 3 to 4 p.m. outside the IGA collecting donations. Please, do your part and donate to this very good cause.

Yes, Virginia there will be a Christmas Fair in the Harbour.
