FLAIR on the Coast meets tomorrow Saturday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m. to noon at the Rockwood Centre in Sechelt. They will have an open forum with shared stories that are always helpful to those who feel they have nowhere to turn at the most stressful time. They welcome those receiving cancer treatment, have been through it, or are a caregiver in the Pender Harbour/Egmont area to join them. Thanksgiving 2022 is this Monday, Oct. 10. Top of my list to give thanks for is friendship. It is precious. So many dear friends have gone in the past months. My moments of disbelief are often. I deeply cherish the memories and will do all I can to prevent them from fading. Now more than ever I treasure my friendships, enriching them with kindness and caring.
