Sechelt’s 140 Legion Bar & Grill grand opening is July 26. This is the culmination of five years of effort to complete renovations of its new home at 5546 Inlet Avenue and convert to a new sustainable business model.

The Sechelt Legion will always maintain its core goals of supporting veterans and their families, promoting remembrance and supporting the community through charity. But it changed its liquor licence so that everyone 19+ is welcome all the time. You no longer need to be a member or be signed in.

In addition, the Legion has chefs preparing a full food service menu from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Minors, accompanied by a parent or guardian, are welcome too. The Legion has some of the best pub food and beverages in town at prices you’ll appreciate. Happy hour has its own cache, and memorabilia is proudly displayed for all to enjoy.

Come celebrate the continuation of our 90-year legacy in Sechelt. Ribbon cutting ceremony is at 10:45 a.m. and we’ll have live entertainment, with great food and beverages throughout the day.
