Letters: Remembering Gibsons’ waterfront houses

'To me they were an important part of Gibsons history, they represented “Old Gibsons,” and it saddens me to see them go, although I know time marches on.'

Editor:

We moved straight to Gibsons from Southern Ontario in the summer of 1990. The three old houses on the water walk, (only one left as of Jan. 7) brought me much pleasure over the years.

To me they were an important part of Gibsons history, they represented “Old Gibsons,” and it saddens me to see them go, although I know time marches on.

I encourage others to share, through letters to the editor, if anyone else has memories about the houses and the history they held.
