Before you can write a movie review, you need to watch the film first. That is, if you want to be taken seriously.
This is in reference to the letter to the editor published in the Sept. 6 issue of the Coast Reporter submitted by Joan Payne “The nature of good government,” in which she claims that a Conservative government would defund schools and dismantle health care and that the cost of health care would increase tenfold.
While everyone is entitled to their opinion, in my view it should be based on fact, not fiction.
I would recommend that Ms Payne read the BC Conservative Party platform, and listen to leader John Rustad on education and health care.
Or, better yet, talk to Chris Moore, Conservative candidate in our riding, at his campaign office on Cowrie St.
I am certain she will find there is no plan to defund schools or dismantle health care.
