Worker injured at former premier's home

A construction worker was medi-vaced to hospital early Monday afternoon for treatment of serious injuries after falling through a skylight at former Premier Gordon Campbell's vacation home in Halfmoon Bay.

A construction worker was medi-vaced to hospital early Monday afternoon for treatment of serious injuries after falling through a skylight at former Premier Gordon Campbell's vacation home in Halfmoon Bay.

Sunshine Coast RCMP confirmed the details, but said they would not be commenting further as the investigation into the incident has now been turned over to WorkSafe B.C. RCMP said they could not comment on the extent of the injuries to the worker.

The worker was doing some re-modeling on the property when the accident occurred. RCMP said the home was vacant at the time of the accident.
