On March 2, a thief made off with a large blue fanny pack that had been left accidently behind on a bench at a business in the 5700 block Cowrie Street. The emptied pack was later turned in anonymously to the business lost and found, and the owner located most of his belongings in a garbage can at a nearby bus stop. Security camera footage showed a female possibly in her 30s, with long dark hair wearing blue jeans, a blue and black jacket and a dark baseball cap, pick up the pack and leave the premises.

An on-duty police officer witnessed a vehicle speeding through a residential zone and conducted a traffic stop as the driver pulled into his driveway. The driver, who admitted consuming alcohol about 30 minutes prior, failed a roadside alcohol-screening test. The driver was given a 90-day driving prohibition and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

On March 3, a thief stole a black Banshee mountain bike from in front of a business in the 1100 block of Highway 101. The bike had no brakes, no brake levers, or left grip.

A shoplifter was reported at a business in the 900 block of Gibsons Way after a staff member witnessed the female suspect leave the premises with stolen goods. A police officer located the suspect a short time later and the suspect admitted to stealing the items and showed the officer where she had hidden them. The business and the suspect agreed to have this matter referred to the restorative justice program.

On March 4, a thief broke into a property in the 1300 block of Highway 101 by cutting a pad lock off a gate and stole an old yellow Bowmac compacter. The compacter is very heavy, so it is believed several people had to be involved to lift it, or an engine hoist would have been needed.

Late on March 5, an on-duty officer was travelling eastbound on Highway 101 when a westbound vehicle swerved over the centre line and almost hit the police vehicle. The officer flashed the vehicle lights to initiate a traffic stop, but the vehicle continued on. The vehicle finally pulled over once police sirens were activated. The officer noted the odour of alcohol on the driver and administered a roadside alcohol-screening test, which the driver failed. The vehicle was impounded and the driver's licence was seized and she was issued a 90-day driving prohibition. Sometime between March 5 and 6, a thief broke into a business in the 1800 block of Cosyan Place. The premises were ransacked, but the only items stolen included some tote bagsand food items.
