The Sunshine Coast will once again be served by two dedicated vessels as of June 26.
The summer sailing schedule is available online and highlights any planned alterations.
Reet Sidhu, Senior Communications Advisor, said that BC Ferries will also expand the two ferry service along Route 3, which will now run seven days a week instead of five.
More trips have also been added to the route. Five extra Route 3 trips will be added from Sunday to Friday and four trips will be added on Sundays, said Sidhu.
BC Ferries announced in May that they expect to see their busiest summer on record – anticipating more than eight million people will board their sailings this summer.
