Weatherhood shows the remainder of this week on the Sunshine Coast set to see a combo of rain, cloud and cool daytime conditions, with highs of 12C to 16C. Single digit overnight low temperature are forecast in the 6C to 9C range.
Those numbers are just under area averages in late May, which hit 18C highs and 9C lows according to Environmental Canada.
As of May 1, Environment Canada’s outlook for our areas in June is for a 72 per cent chance that the coming month will be warmer than normal. The likelihood that temperatures will be in the normal range is forecast at 24 per cent and there’s only a four per cent chance that the mercury will dip below average levels next month.
Average temperatures during the month are highs of 21C and lows of 12C.
