Weatherhood predicts 20mm of rain will fall on the Sunshine Coast on May 28.
Looking at provincial average monthly precipitation volumes cited on the website Weather and Climate, that's almost a fifth of the 103 mm average rainfall total for the month of May.
The air temperature is slated to top out at 13C today, below the monthly average of 16C. The slightly cooler weather is forecast to continue for the next five days. Rain is also in that outlook daily, with a slight reprieve and sun peaking out on Friday.
