There are a number of ways to dispose of your live Christmas trees in the Lower Sunshine Coast.

Wondering what to do with your live Christmas tree? Here are a couple of options.

If you need to get rid of an artificial tree, consider donating it or posting it on a free marketplace site to keep it out of the landfill.

No trees are accepted, with the exception of Christmas trees, which are only allowed in January each year.

Pender Harbour Transfer Station

The Pender Harbour Transfer Station site is located in the Garden Bay area of Pender Harbour, on Garden Bay Road off of the Sunshine Coast Highway. The Pender Harbour transfer station accepts debit and credit cards only.

October 1 to April 30
Monday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday: closed
Wednesday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: closed
*No loads accepted after 4:50 p.m.
