RCMP suspect a break-in at a shipping container on the construction site on Teredo Street and Shorncliffe Avenue, a recovered stolen cabin cruiser at Snickett Park, and a lone kayak found tied to the concrete platform at the conveyor belt dock at the south end of Chelpi Avenue, could be related.
The 26-foot-long boat was stolen from the Selma Park boat launch at around 6:30 a.m. June 25.
Police have received reports of a group of three people in each of those areas, who were last seen in the area of Snickett Park.
RCMP are asking for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity this morning between 5 and 7 a.m. or anyone with a dash cam or home surveillance cameras who may have captured images of these suspects, to please contact police at 604-885-2266.
