Police bust two alleged crack dealers

Two men were arrested in Gibsons and charged with various drug related offences in two police busts last week.

On Sept. 8, a Street Crew member arrested a 20-year-old male on Veterans Road for possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Police located on the male a cell phone, 12 half-gram bags of crack cocaine and bundled money.

On Sept. 9, the Street Crew arrested another 20-year-old male on Park Road for possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Police located a cell phone and 18 half-gram spitballs of crack cocaine.

Both suspects will appear in Sechelt provincial court in November.

"Sunshine Coast RCMP have been actively targeting persons involved in trafficking cocaine and crack cocaine and will continue to do so in the coming months," said Const. Andy Cook in a press release.
