A variety of talented fashion designers, artists, performers and musi-cians from the Sun-shine Coast, Bowen Island and Van-couver are uniting to present Fashion Passion at Gibsons Heritage Playhouse tomorrow (Saturday) Feb. 10.
This fun, festive event is the first in a series of fashion shows and "tribal markets" designed to bring local art, music and performances to the public in a fun, entertaining environment suitable for the whole family.
The event starts with an exciting circus-style performance of hoola-hoops and stilt walking followed by a children's fashion show at 3:15 p.m. featuring local models. At 4 p.m., a silent auction featuring donated items from local businesses and artists begins, and at 4:30 local Sunshine Coast favourites Pan, Ben and Aprile present a dance performance. The Valentine's themed fashion show for grownups featuring live DJs and artists' visuals goes from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Admission is by a minimum $10 donation.
Fashion Passion is a fundraiser for the Sun Haven School being put on with the help of generous business and individual sponsors on the Sunshine Coast.
