Sunshine Coast SHROOM (Society for the Hunting, Recognition and Observation of Mushrooms) held its ninth annual mushroom festival Oct. 13 to 15 with the main event taking place Saturday in the Madeira Park Community Hall.
Tables of mushrooms were on display for identification, chefs did cooking demonstrations using locally-sourced mushrooms, and fibre artists showed how to use mushrooms for dye.
