A brief from the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) Oct. 27 board meeting.
Although the incoming Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) Board could make adjustments, the 2023 schedule of board and committee meetings were approved at the outgoing board's final meeting, on Oct. 27.
Board meetings are scheduled on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 2 p.m. Committee of the Whole meetings have been booked for those same dates at 9:30 a.m.
The Finance Committee will begin 2023 with round one budget meetings scheduled for Jan. 23 to 25 and round two budget deliberations slated for Feb. 21 and 22. Further meetings of that committee will be scheduled as needed.
The Electoral Area Services Committee meetings are to happen on the third Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m., with the Board Policy Review Committee meetings to be called as required.
No board or committee meetings are scheduled for the upcoming August to allow for a summer break. December 2023 will only see scheduled meetings during the first two weeks.
