Sunshine Coast schools are open and fully powered following yesterday's wind storm except Halfmoon Bay Elementary School.
Stephanie Murawsky, SD46 communications officer said “due to ongoing outages affecting electricity, heat, phones, and internet, Halfmoon Bay Elementary will remain closed today. Staff should contact their principal for further details.”
She confirmed that all bus services are running on regular schedules.
While repairs are ongoing, Secret Cove, Halfmoon Bay and Redrooffs remain powerless.
