Those headed to the big city from the Sunshine Coast have one more option Thursday evening.
BC Ferries has added a 6:40 p.m. sailing from Langdale to Horseshoe Bay, Sept. 5 to "assist with high traffic volumes."
The Queen of Alberni, which is doing the 5:30 p.m. commuter run from Horseshoe Bay, will return from the Coast with a load of passengers.
Despite there being a regularly scheduled 5:55 p.m. sailing, the 6:40 p.m. sailing is filling up with 36% capacity as of 5:40 p.m.
