Tracy Parker, a dedicated member of the Sunshine Coast Skating Club, has added yet another gold medal to her impressive collection. Parker competed at the 2024 North American International Adult Figure Skating Competition, held in Calgary, Alberta, from September 20-24, and won a gold medal in the Bronze Women’s Free Skating Class IV event.
The competition was the first international figure skating event to be held on First Nations land in Canada, drawing competitors from 14 nations. Canadian athletes, including Parker, dominated the competition, bringing home 120 medals, with Parker’s stellar performance contributing to the tally.
Parker’s gold-medal-winning routine in Calgary continues her streak of international success. She previously earned gold medals at the 2022 Kristal Cup in Ghent, Belgium, and the 2022 ISU Adult Figure Skating Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany. Additionally, she secured a bronze medal at the 2020 Winter World Masters Games in Innsbruck, Austria.
The Sunshine Coast Skating Club is proud of Parker’s accomplishments and looks forward to supporting her in future competitions as she continues to excel on the international figure skating circuit.
