A new marketing manager has joined Sunshine Coast Tourism (SCT).
Crystal Solberg began the position on Oct. 12, bringing with her more than nine years of experience working for non-profit destination management organizations: the Vancouver, Coast and Mountains Tourism Region (VCM) and most recently Tourism Richmond as the manager of digital and content marketing.
Originally from Abbotsford, Solberg has a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Thompson Rivers University.
In 2017, she was named in the Destinations International 30 Under 30 class.
With SCT, Solberg will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of consumer brand and marketing in accordance with their mandate to cultivate a sustainable year-round tourism economy, while protecting and respecting the natural environment and cultural diversity.
