Tranquility Garden Party, Sunday, Aug. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. is a family friendly end-of-summer celebration. You won’t believe the beauty created behind the EarthFair Store, so come and see for yourself. Enjoy the music of Carnaval Paradiso, Deborah Holland, and the Mitch Lazer Trio. Help paint the mural, learn to hula hoop with Dixie Honey and partake in delicious refreshments.
Harbourside Friendship, the Thursday drop-in program 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pender Harbour Community Hall, has a couple of special musical guests and road trip coming up. Aug. 24, music from Marg Skelly on the harp and Leslie McDougall on the flute. Lunch will be served at noon and the cost will be $10 per person. Aug. 31, road trip to Egmont Thrift Store followed by lunch at the Backeddy.

The Pender Harbour Blues Society and Joe Stanton Music are thrilled to present The Precious Littles Reunion Picnic on Saturday, Sept. 9, starting at 2 p.m. at the Lions Park, Madeira Park. The long-awaited reunion of this incredible band will be topped off with a performance by Vancouver singer/songwriter, Elliot C. Way. Camping is available.
