FLAIR on the Coast will begin the year this Saturday, Jan. 13, 10 a.m. to noon at the Rockwood Centre in Sechelt. Andre Casaubon will be presenting chair exercises with emphasis on breathing techniques which help relieve pain, gain flexibility, and assist in our wellbeing. FLAIR is a very welcoming Cancer Support Group and completely non-profit. This Saturday afternoon a Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness information session will be held 12:30 p.m. at the Legion. I encourage residents to attend.
The Mid Winter Chamber Music is this weekend, Jan. 13 and 14, with fine musicians Victoria Piano Quartet, Terence Tam, violin, Yariv Aloni, viola, Pamela Highbaugh Aloni, cello, Lorraine Min, piano. Friday, Jan. 19 the Coffee House returns to the School of Music with the talented Coast-based performers. Taking the stage will be Katrina Bishop and Marketplace featuring Chris and Solomon Hergesheimer. Doors open at 7 p.m. Music at 7:30 p.m. $10 suggested donation at the door. Desserts, coffee, and tea available.

Our Bargain Barn is hosting a Fashion Exchange! This fantastic fashion forward upcycling event is Sunday, Jan. 28. $25 admission includes your first glass of wine, cheese and nibbles.
