Bingo is back! Yes! Pender Harbour Community Club Bingo, the first one of the year will happen Thursday, March 10 at The Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., Early Bird Game is 6:30 p.m. The 50 number jackpot of $1,000 will be paid out providing there is a good turnout. Current COVID-19 conditions apply.
How lucky we are to enjoy live music all weekend. Saturdays the amazing fingerpicking guitar player, singer, songwriter, the Sunshine Coast’s Joe Stanton sits down to play at The Backeddy Pub starting at 5 p.m. You will want to get there early before the lineup forms and have time to walk around and take in the spectacular vistas. Tuesday night, Joe, Sue and furkid Jack welcome you to “Our Place” with their live stream at 6 p.m. Exceedingly kind and generous of them to have continued since the pandemic started. Greatly enjoyed and appreciated.
This Sunday, Live Music at The Legion 2 to 5 p.m., Poppa Greg and his fabulous band will treat you to fantastic music; original tunes and covers like you have never heard before. It’s $7 cover at the door. Come for Brunch 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and play the mini-meat draw too. Every Friday night the funny, talented Brit Eddy Edrik will entertain through dinner and into the evening.
He does get around and Thursday, March 10 Eddy Edrik will perform at Harbourside Friendships at The Hall. The weekly social begins at 10:30 a.m. through to noon.
What a welcome sight to see Tony Triple BBB’s is open! Oh, how I have missed his outrageously delicious veggie burgers! Tony makes all his fine food from scratch and to order just in case you didn’t know.
The Grasshopper Pub will soon be open Mondays in addition to their current schedule and offering their special “Fish & Chip.” Ventured out to “The Hopper” Sunday afternoon for a lovely cocktail and appie, both delightful. Great service and those views of the Harbour, breathtaking.
