'Mom was up for anything, whether it was painting a fence, getting new chickens or late-night hockey games, she was always there.'

Mom passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children, Bryan (Kim), Julie (Peter), and Mark (Rita); was Gammy to Jeremy, Jessica, Sydney, Peyton, Cole and Paige; Great-Gammy to Levon; and Aunty to many nieces and nephews. Mom was born to Bill and Velda Munson in Vancouver. She spent part of her childhood in logging camps, Powell River, and Vancouver, but West Sechelt was her home. Mom always enjoyed the little things in life like black coffee, gardening, sleeping in, romance novels, crafts and always had a puzzle on the go. Mom was up for anything, whether it was painting a fence, getting new chickens or late-night hockey games, she was always there. We could count on her for tough times and most dinners. Mom received exceptional care at Shorncliffe; our family has so much appreciation for all the staff who supported her. There are too many people to name, but Sheila's family cannot express their appreciation towards you all. Special thanks to Dr. Bryson. Mom loved her family and always said, "I don't know what I would do without you." We will miss you, Mom. No funeral by request.
