It is with great sorrow we announce the death of our son. Ryan Ronald Robinson passed away on November 18, 2022. Ryan was born in the Sechelt Hospital and resided on the Sunshine Coast for most of his life. He for a short time operated a roofing company called Robinson Roofing and also worked in other trades in the forestry sector as well as construction participating in some of the Sechelt Hospital upgrades. Ryan is survived by his parents Ken and Debbie Robinson, daughter Julia Robinson and her mother Angeline Jeffries, his brother and sister in-law Jordan and Alyssa Robinson, his uncle Don Robinson, grandmother Nora Robinson, aunt and uncle Vicki and Ron Macfarlane, grandparents Wendy and Vic Sallows. Ryan was bigger than life. A fun, loving person who loved life to the fullest. As such he always lived on the edge. Ryan struggled for many years with mental health addictions which unfortunately finally took his life.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday December 3 at the Sechelt Legion from 1pm to 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations go to mental health. This can be done through the link below which sends the funds through the Sechelt Hospital Foundation. There is a comment box where people can put something that includes Ryan Robinson’s name. These donations will then be screened and put into a specific donation fund specific to our local Sechelt Opioid Replacement Clinic for mental health.
