With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Robert M. Gillis.
On August 11, Rob unexpectedly passed away at his home in Halfmoon Bay. He is survived by his loving family, Kim (Saul), Gregg (Alex), Evana, Georgia, Katrina, his sister Barb (Mark) and his mother May. He was predeceased by his father, Don.
Rob grew up in Burnaby and spent much of his summer vacations since childhood in Halfmoon Bay. It was a place that brought him much peace and happiness.
Robert will be sadly missed by friends and family for his caring nature, willingness to always help, and his love of music and genealogy.
