It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laura Anne Oakford (Frayne). Born April 24, 1952, she left us March 27, 2024 peacefully at home in her sleep.
Not only a wife, mother and proud grandmother, she was the epitome of matriarch in ours and in her extended family. Truly one of the strongest and most courageous women we have ever known.
She will be deeply missed. She is survived by loving husband of 52 years, William Oakford, sons Jason Oakford (spouse Brandi Thomas) and Kerry Oakford (spouse Nicole Oakford), three grandchildren, Aiden and Josh Oakford and Russel Oakford. She also is survived by her two brothers, Edward and Vincent Frayne (spouse Bonnie Frayne).
