“Loved you first, Love you more”
Linda Lou as we called her, was a force to be reckoned with. She enjoyed the company of her cats more than with people and lived her life independently. An avid gardener, wonderful cook, and an amazing, entertaining soul to spend time with...she was quite the character with many stories to tell. Many evenings were spent at her kitchen table as we shared stories over a glass or two of wine...pinot grigio was her favorite. She had many lovely cats over her lifetime, but the last two that she was Mumma cat to, were Willie & Otter...they never lacked for food, treats nor love. When Willie would go exploring outside, sometimes late at night, one could hear Linda out on the street calling his name as she wouldn't go to bed until both her kits were safely tucked up on the bed beside her. She loved watching old movies and was an avid lifelong photographer. You would see her in her garden taking close up pictures of her beautiful flowers, squirrels, birds or even stalking the wandering deer or the peacock (she named him Mr Peabody) thru her yard or on the road, to get just the right shots! As we sat with her, sharing happy memories and special songs, "I did it my way by Frank Sinatra" she left this earth, on her own terms and yes she certainly lived life her way! Keep on taking those beautiful pictures Linda Lou, you certainly were THE PHOTOGRAPHER AT LARGE. Love & miss you to the stars & beyond, your family Doug & Karen and all the Bees at the McLeslie Beehive Estates & Whinery.
