Donald William Baron passed away suddenly on November 2, 2024, from natural causes. He spent his working career in the forest industry as a logger, boom man and equipment operator, and he especially loved being on the water. Don faced many challenges throughout his life, but in the end, he overcame most of them and told us he was living a happy life. He loved music, sports, discussing politics and social justice issues with his sister-in-law, and, during this past year, enjoyed his garden. He was predeceased by his father Don, mother Beverly, brother Gord and son Michael. He is survived by his daughter Tara (Rick); brother Lorne (Cheryl); sister Deb (Ron); sister-in-law Shirley; uncle Ted; cousins Lorraine (Jim), Lynda, Bev (Paul), Vivian (Corby), Tricia (Craig) and Bob (Corrie); many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and his best friend Tracy Jones (Gil). We loved him and will miss him. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
