September 12, 1937 - November 13, 2024

Dennis (Denny) Mann passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Laura Mann (nee Loewen). Dennis was a very proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather of three children, Jay (Stacy), Darien ( Ralph) and Joseph (Lakshmi); eight grandchildren, Heather (deceased), Daryl (Chelsea), Graham (Shannon), Breanne (Johnathan), Zachary (Kate), Mitchell (Jessa), Anand and Taij; and six great-grandchildren, Avery, Charlotte, Loewen, Adeline, Logan and Dennis.

Dennis was the third son of Margaret and Aaron Mann (both deceased). He was predeceased by his two older brothers, Aaron and Donald, and he is survived by his younger brother Lewis.

He worked at the Edmonton Journal for 45 years. During this time he had three trades - Stereotyper, Pressman and Machinist/Millwright. In 1963, Dennis and Laura moved to their acreage near Sherwood Park, where they lived for 38 years. They enjoyed retirement in Sechelt for the past 23 years.

Dennis dedicated his life to his family, community and church. He was always there to lend a hand or fix something. His values, principles, dependability and work ethic set a precedent to strive for. He was happiest when the pool was full of laughing children or when a new family baby was sleeping on his chest.
