It is with heartfelt sadness that my David has passed away. To all that knew him, David was a loving, hardworking Husband, a fun Dad and a great Grandfather.

Born in Vancouver, he came to the Sunshine Coast when David was 18yrs old where he soon was working at the mill. David worked for there for 43½yrs, until he decided to retire. We had met through a good friend Bruce, began dating, and shared 61yrs together. David’s hobbies were UFC fights, movies, fishing adventures and wiener roasts over bonfires at our kids’ houses. David also enjoyed his 30yrs in our Hot Rod Car Club to which he revelled in his recently finished hot rod. We as a family traveled with our children and had countless excursions on our own for over 50 years, enjoying every journey we embarked upon together.

We were all able to have our quiet and love-filled time with David, before he like the Man he was, decided when his time had come to an end. David went to sleep peacefully, holding my hand in his and surrounded by his loving family, peacefully holding onto all our love and support as he quietly slipped away from us.

Good Night My Heart.

Our family would like to thank David’s Doctors for all their kindness and care over the years of his long illness. Dr. R. Robinson, Dr. K. Koopman, Dr. B. Eigal, Dr. C. Ho, Dr. E. Chein, Dr. Nigro, Dr.E Dunne and Nurse Practioner Pamela Trant.

To our wonderful Hospice ~ Doctors and Staff for taking such wonderful and loving care to David on the last week of his stay with us all. Blessings to you and yours.
