We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Colin McKinney. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Due to unexpected illness Colin passed surrounded by loving family on the evening of September 17, 2023.
Colin is survived by his loving family; wife of 61 years, Carmen, daughter Kelly (partner Jason), son Kris (partner Laura), grandchildren Ashley (husband Corey), Sarah (fiance Kodie), Bailey (fiancé Colin), Jordan, Ariel and Kelsey (partner Julia). He was so very proud of all his family but especially his great-grandchildren; great-grandsons Owen and Jace, most recent great-granddaughter Lenny and soon to bless the family, baby Mallory.
Colin, best known as “Big Mac” was a happy-go-lucky man. He enjoyed his outings, always greeting and chatting with everyone with a big smile. He truly was a hallmark of our community and his guidance and friendship will be missed by so many.
Out of respect for Colin’s wishes we will not be holding a service but rather a celebration of life which will be held at a later date (to be announced).
In the words of Big Mac, “If I don’t see you in the future, I’ll see you in the pasture”.
