September 16, 1951 - May 15, 2023
Charlene Rilkoff was born on the Sunshine Coast on September 16, 1951 and passed peacefully away there on May 15, 2023 with her loving husband at her side. Charlene, or "Char" as she was known to her family and friends, will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, but especially her husband John and son Carlin, her sisters Julie, Penny, and Anne, her two brothers Herb and Ron, and her dog and waking partner Teddy.
A northern transplant for over thirty years, Charlene and her husband John returned to the coastal community she loved and grew up in in 2010. She enjoyed walking the trails around her home and was an enthusiastic and passionate gardener, tirelessly working around her yard to create a beautiful space for her family and friends to enjoy, and wonderful flower beds for the local deer to feast from. Charlene will be forever loved and forever missed, and will be remembered by close family and friends at a celebration of life in the home she so loved to call home.
