It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our dear sister Bernadette.
Bernadette married Bob in November 1967. He was her prime caregiver and loved her so much. She is survived by their two children, Christine and Bobby (Sheila). They had four grandchildren; James, Heather, Walker and Mitchell and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Elena. She is also survived by her brother Dave (Linda), sisters Nadine (John), and Elaine (Dave), and many nieces and nephews.
She was the twin sister of our sister Barbara who we lost in October 2022. They were born in Port Mellon in January during a snowstorm and they arrived early. It is a wonder they survived, weighing approximately 3lbs. each. They were transferred to Vancouver Hospital a couple of days later and survived. They were strong girls right from the start!
We will miss her energy and laughter. She loved to dance and she’ll be now dancing with Mom, Dad and sister Barb.
A celebration of her life will be held in the summer with her family and friends.
